The official shuttle company at Temuco’s Airport is called TransAraucania.
They are the only authorized shuttle company at the airport, and their staff wears a blue and green uniform.

They have a counter at the airport, right next to the automatic doors (from the baggage carrousel). They offer regular and private shuttles to Temuco at $30.000 pesos (USD $40 per vehicle).
You don’t need reservations and you can pay in Credit Card or Cash. The ATM’s is on second floor.

Our meeting hotel address is AVENIDA ALEMANIA 945, TEMUCO.
Our local team will meet you at Dreams Araucanía Hotel in Temuco at 9am. We’ll then drive to the first resort of your ski trip: Corralco Ski Resort.
This fantastic ski resort is known for its excellent snow conditions, and is located at the foothill of an active Lonquimay volcano. This wild protected area features amazing Araucaria tree forests.
Upon arrival, we’ll proceed to the ski fit and safety training before skiing the slopes of the Lonquimay Volcano.

Difficulty
Intermediate: You are an adventurous intermediate skier. You can ski “reds” at a good pace whatever the conditions and “easy blacks”. Difficult “blacks”, bumps or going off-piste, hmm, definitely need some work!
You will enjoy the backcountry but with the peace of mind that you are within a patrolled ski resort. Don’t worry if you are unsure of your exact level. A rough guess is good enough. We sort it all out in the resort on the first evening when you arrive.
Equipment required
No extra equipment is required for this trip other than your normal skiing equipment.
If you intend to take the options of getting to the top of the volcanoes then we recommend you bring ski touring equipment (skis with touring bindings, skins, and ski crampons). These can be hired before travel if required.
Off-piste safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe) will be provided if necessary. A backpack with carrying straps for skis is essential.
No previous ski touring experience is required.
Itinerary Modifications
Slight itinerary modifications might occur due to weather and or road conditions, or force majeure.
