Best South American Skiing Season EVER – 2015

The 2015 Ski Season in South America will be remembered for all snow lovers, from beginners to experts skiers and snowboarders. During the month of August 2015 we not only had the best snow conditions but the perfect weather during the day, with sunny days and low winds. As result, the powder was everywhere we went: Corralco Ski Resort and Lonquimay Volcano, Caviahue Ski Resort and Copahue Volcano, Chapelco Ski Resort and Huilo Huilo Mountain Resort and its Mocho and Choshuenco Volcanoes.

We did amazing things, such us dog-sledding and snowmobiling in Caviahue, skinned up (randonee skiing) to the crater of Lonquimay volcano in Corralco, went tree skiing in Chapelco and Cat Skiing in Huilo Huilo reaching the summit of Mocho and Choshuenco volcanoes. The best backcountry skiing that I can remember since 2003 …

For as long as “El Niño” stays close to our Pacific coast, we can be sure that there will be plenty of good snow.

We invite you to join us next year starting from August and September 2016.
